Small City, Big Stories Launches in Partnership with NBCTC

We’re excited to introduce Small City, Big Stories, a new podcast produced by the North Adams Partnership in collaboration with the Northern Berkshire Community Television Corporation (NBCTC). Each episode celebrates the people and projects driving downtown North Adams forward—and this inaugural episode sets the stage for the stories to come.

Thanks to Matthew Tucker and Steven Burgoon M.Ed. at NBCTC for their support and expertise!

Episode 1: Andrew Fitch

Andrew Fitch is a community leader, entrepreneur, and North Adams evangelist. Through his work as Vice President of the North Adams City Council and co-owner of Steeple City Social, a bakery/bar/community space in Downtown North Adams, Andrew enjoys advocating for the Northern Berkshires and identifying ways to bring the community together and prepare the region for a bright and successful future.

In his spare time, Andrew works on his house, helps organize First Friday events, produces public art programs, and fundraises for local non-profits.

In our first episode, we talk about bowler hats, building community by walking around, and the winding path from student council to city council.
